Celebrating Spring

The Lithuanian Mint welcomes spring with the final release in its Four Seasons series. Designed by Lucrezia Delfine, the obverse of the .999-fine silver $2 coin depicts a woman in full color surrounded by birds and vibrant flowers. A tree grows in the background, and the legend SPRING appears above. The common reverse for the series features the denomination, year, and seal of the island nation of Niue. Along the edge are elements from each season: flowers for spring, snowflakes for winter, leaves and acorns for autumn, and seashells for summer.
