The Italian State Mint has released the second issue in its Flora and Fauna silver bullion series. The 1-ounce coin recognizes the lily, a symbol of purity, devotion, and rebirth.
In celebration of Italy’s native plants and animals, the Flora and Fauna series began in 2025 with a silver bullion issue featuring the daisy. The coin marked Italy’s first bullion release since the silver 5 lira of 1914, which depicted a Roman quadriga chariot.
