Semiquincentennial 1776 ~ 2026-W Proof American Gold Eagles remained the U.S. Mint’s top sellers during their first full week of release, despite carrying some of the highest prices among its numismatic products, even as those prices have retreated a touch alongside gold. Originally, the gold coins launched at $685 to $11,410, easing to $675 to $11,225 by midweek last week.
